(Mar. 1) A dotmusic representative e-mailed this to me today: dotmusic will webcast the Bush gig live from Manchester's Academy next Wednesday March 8th. The band, led by Gavin Rossdale, has asked us to webcast their final UK show to a massive global audience to help celebrate the release of their new single 'Warm Machine' which is in the shops on Monday 6th. Not surprisingly we said 'alright then'. The Bush webcast comes exactly a month after dotmusic webcast the 'secret' sold out Cure gig from London's Astoria Theatre around the world. Once again we will be building a dedicated Bush area on dotmusic which will include reviews, competitions and a special Bush fans chat room enabling fans to chat live during the gig itself. Following our ground-breaking internet sound mix for the Cure, we will once again be providing a special online mix so that fans can hear the band at its very best. The gig will also be archived on dotmusic for two weeks. "We're really excited about webcasting this Bush gig," says dotmusic Editor Andy Strickland. "'Warm Machine' is already a big dotmusic favourite and once again this is further proof that the biggest bands in the world want their biggest gigs webcast on the UK's biggest music website. Bush fans in Manchester have been waiting a long time for this gig to happen so we're expecting a wild night." We'll keep you up to date with all the latest Bush and webcast news right here on dotmusic so stay tuned. Dotmusic.com

(Mar. 9)From mtv.com: Gavin Rossdale got a bit of help when Bush took the stage in Manchester, England Tuesday night as his girlfriend, No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani, joined the band. Stefani joined Bush during the group's set at Manchester, England's Academy, marking the first time that Gavin and Gwen have performed together onstage. The No Doubt singer lent her talents to "Spacetravel," a song that she provided backing vocals for on Bush's album "The Science Of Things." The Manchester gig also marked the end of Bush's recent European tour and was carried live on the Internet at dotmusic.com. The show has been archived and will be available on the site for the next two weeks.

(Mar. 10) From nme.com: Bush guitarist Nigel Pulsford has fractured his ankle after falling off the stage whilst performing a gig at Norwich UEA last Tuesday (March 7). An eyewitness at the Norwich show told nme.com: "I thought the gig was absolutely storming. The band were just jumping around like most bands do, doing their performance. I think he jumped and when he landed he twisted it. There were certainly a lot of ice packs around backstage after the performance!" A UK spokesperson for Bush added: "Because it was the end of the tour the band were all really going for it. He twisted his ankle and didn't think anything about it. The next day he woke up in agony with it really swollen and it was then he decided to go to hospital." Pulsford had recovered sufficiently to be able to play the following night (March 8) at the Manchester Academy, albeit with his ankle fully bandaged. At the Manchester date the band were joined by No Doubt vocalist Gwen Stefani for a version of 'Space Travel' from Bush's new album 'The Science of Things'. Bush have been plagued by bad luck throughout their tour. In Novemeber postponed for two months the entire UK leg of the tour because of "unforseen promotional demands on the band's time". On the rearranged dates the band then postponed the Manchester and Norwich legs again, due to problems with singer Gavin Rossdale's throat. Bush released their latest single 'Warm Machine' on March 6 through Trauma Records.

(Mar. 18) From allstar.com: Bush, 98 Degrees, and the Fugees' Wyclef Jean have signed on to perform at the Race To Erase MS on April 28 in Los Angeles. The seventh annual event will be held at the Century Plaza Hotel and will benefit the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis. In addition to the concert, the Race to Erase MS will include a music-memorabilia auction. Some of the items up for grabs are private concerts by Natalie Cole and Lisa Loeb; guitars autographed by Carlos Santana, Counting Crows, Bush, Hootie & the Blowfish, and Don Henley; Academy of Country Music tickets; and a private recording session with Coolio. Tickets for the Race To Erase MS start at $1,000. VH1 will air the event in July.

(Mar. 18) The Bush Behind the Music 2 episode will air on May 2nd on VH1.

(Mar. 22) From dotmusic.com: Primal Scream, Bush, James, Embrace and Eagle Eye Cherry have all been confirmed to headline the third MTV Five Night Stand in May. The five nights of live music take place at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London from May 5-9 and include appearances from some acclaimed acts as support. Muse, Death In Vegas, Day One, Coldplay and Doves are also lined-up to play the five-night festival. Tickets go on sale for the shows on March 23 and are priced at £13.

(Mar. 22) From Q online: Bush ready to join Greenpeace boat protests UK stadium rockers Bush, who used to be famous for being bigger in the US than they are over here, are set to join the eco-pressure group Greenpeace on a boat demonstration to show their support for the environment. The band have already donated a song to feature on a Greenpeace campaign video but now want to increase their involvement with Greenpeace further by taking to the sea. Gavin Rossdale, Bush's lead singer and chief hair stylist, said: "I'd love to get in one of those dinghies and go out to whatever boat they're on to protest. We are certainly working on ways to work together. " The song Bush donated was The Disease of the Dancing Cats from the band's most recent album The Science of Things. Apparently it was about a notorious Mercury poisoning incident at a chemical plant at Minimata Bay in Japan in 1972. With his recent vocal condemnation of the far-right coalition in Austria and now this, Bush and Mr Rossdale are finally in danger of becoming credible on their home turf...

(Mar. 24) From bushnet.com: Frontman Gavin Rossdale was missing in action during "Everything Zen" at their opening show of MTV's Campus Invasion tour. According to a press release by Trauma Records "Gavin bolted from the stage and ran through the crowd and all the way to the second level of the arena, causing a frenzy with many in the crowd wildly rushing in his direction. As the band continued to perform it became clear that Rossdale would not be able to get back to the stage anytime soon. After almost five minutes jamming on Zen, guitarist Nigel Pulsford finished the song and inserted into the lyrics 'where is Gavin' only half jokingly. With the help of Bush security, Rossdale made it safely back to the stage to begin the first chorus of 'The Chemicals Between Us.'"

(Mar. 26) Gavin Rossdale is scheduled to appear on TRL Monday, March 27th to talk about MTV's Campus Invasion Tour.

(Mar. 26) Bush will be playing May 9th at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London as part of MTV's Five Night Stand.
